It's time for the 2011 cheapest of the cheap contest, where I invite all of you smart readers to send me your best penny pinching ideas and compete to win the top prize of $999.99 that goes to the person with the very best money saving idea.
The Second Place winner gets $499.99 and third place get $249.99 and there are 10 honorable mention winners who will get gift cards.
All 50 of my winners will get to bring a guest and attend a sumptuous (and not so cheap) awards luncheon on April 9 at Maggiano's Little Italy restaurant. And all 50 will get loaded up goodie bags and door prizes such as gift certificates, tickets and other coveted treasures during the four-course feast.
So enter, and enter often because the rewards are many.
Stay cheap!
